Wet Weather Tip! Another soggy stretch—classic Coffs! Have you tried this trick yet?
A nappy can be a handy option for keeping a hoof clean and helping draw moisture out of the foot… but it’s not a cure-all!
For a proper foot abscess, I still recommend a poultice—because I actually need moisture at the surface to help soften the sole and draw the abscess out. Modern nappies are designed to wick moisture away, which is the opposite of what we want in that case.
