How cool is anatomy? (Or maybe my inner nerd is showing!)
This video is such a great example of how bones aren’t static—they adapt and change with movement and load. It’s the same in animals too! With horses, we see bone conditioning from certain types of work, especially when done consistently and appropriately.
On the flip side, repeated strain or injury to tendons or ligaments can also affect the bone they’re attached to. The body’s always adapting—sometimes in helpful ways, sometimes not!
The large white arrow is a exostosis.
