Show Horse Development Weekend with Les Friend at Tallowood Hill Farm
Whether you’re preparing for your next Agricultural Show, SHC competition or Equestrian Australia event, there’s no substitute for quality coaching from one of Australia’s most respected Show Horse coaches.
We’re excited to welcome Les Friend to Tallowood Hill Farm for an exclusive Show Horse Development Weekend on 25–26 July 2026.
This two-day clinic offers riders the opportunity to work one-on-one with Les through private 30-minute lessons designed to improve both horse and rider. From refining your presentation and rider position to developing a more confident partnership, this clinic is suitable for riders at all stages of their Show Horse journey.
Why Attend a Clinic?
Every rider, regardless of experience, can benefit from having a fresh set of eyes on their training.
Clinics provide the opportunity to:
- Improve your riding technique
- Refine your horse’s way of going
- Gain valuable competition advice
- Build confidence for both horse and rider
- Set achievable training goals
- Learn from watching other riders throughout the day
The learning continues long after your own lesson finishes.
A Premium Training Experience
The clinic will be held in Tallowood Hill Farm’s premium all-weather indoor arena, providing consistent riding conditions regardless of the weather.
Our facilities have been designed with both horse and rider in mind, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed and productive weekend.
Facilities include:
- Premium indoor arena
- Horse stables and secure yards
- Wash bays and tie-up areas
- Float parking
- Boutique Tiny Cabin accommodation
- Powered and non-powered camping
- Peaceful rural setting
Make a Weekend of It
One of the unique features of this clinic is the opportunity to stay onsite with your horse.
Rather than travelling home after your lesson, why not enjoy everything Tallowood Hill Farm has to offer?
Book one of our boutique Tiny Cabins, reserve a powered or non-powered campsite, or stay close to your horse using our stable and yard accommodation.
On Saturday evening, join fellow riders for our relaxed Wood Fired Pizza Night—a great opportunity to unwind, meet other competitors and enjoy country hospitality around the fire.
More Than Just Riding
At Tallowood Hill Farm, we believe clinics are about more than simply riding a lesson.
They’re about learning, connecting with like-minded horse people, sharing experiences and creating lasting memories.
Whether you’re chasing your next championship, preparing a young horse or simply looking to improve your skills, the Show Horse Development Weekend offers the perfect environment to learn from one of Australia’s leading coaches.
Expressions of Interest Now Open
Private 30-minute lessons are available across both days, allowing riders the flexibility to book sessions that suit their individual goals.
Places are limited to ensure every rider receives quality one-on-one coaching.
