History & Community Impact
Instigated in 1946 as a gymkhana, the show’s primary goal was to raise funds for the maintenance of the Woodstock Soldiers Memorial Hall. Today, it continues to support local charitable organisations and promotes the development of pastoral, agricultural, and cultural pursuits in the district. In 2016, the show received the Innovation Award from the Agricultural Societies Council of NSW.
